From CNN in the story at the above link: “Twenty-nine U.S. troops died in Iraq during February, the third-lowest total of the nearly five-year-old war, according to Pentagon figures compiled by CNN.” The story also reports that this is a trend of decreasing casualties.
This is great news. I hope other media outlets also report on this, however, none will give this the same attention had the death rate been the highest of the war.
Though this is great news, this is no consolation to the family and friends of the 29 troops that were killed. All the deaths are tragic and the goal is to reduce them to a level that indicates complete stability in Iraq. I doubt that happens within the year, however, it is the trend that is important right now. I have even seen reports that business is bad for the grave diggers at the grave yards in Iraq.
The Army has recently pulled out of Bosnia. The EU keeps a small force there and NATO still has a headquarters in Sarajevo, however, the mission is complete in Bosnia. In Kosovo, the Mission is not complete, however, we are getting close. Note one service member has been killed in action in either the Bosnia or Kosovo campaign. Considering we have been involved in that region for over ten years, this fact is amazing. I wished the same was true for Iraq, however, my point here is that it is possible for the Army to go somewhere without any combat casualties. In any campaign, there is always accidents, death from natural causes, suicides, and murders.
I hope the trend will continue and the need for our troops to be in Iraq will come to an end. I hope those in Iraq who oppose us will realize all they must do to win is end their fight and their reward will be life in a peaceful and prosperous society. Except for a few named individuals, it is that simple. Those guys should understand there is no reward for the hardship they bear. The casualty rate among them is astronomical. The risks are high. The living conditions are harsh. Again, just walk away. Life will be better. There may not be 70 virgins for you, but you will have a lot of time on your hands and an unlimited supply of goats.

Random Thoughts about John McCain
I was reading the Stars & Stripes today and thinking about John McCain. I was reading other articles on line about how Obama has the best chance for the democrats against McCain. This process has gone a long way for the democrats to have to consider which one of them has the best chance. Months ago everyone was assuming the democrat would win the presidency and the democratic primaries were an anointing process for Hillary Clinton.
The fact is that it appears that John McCain is the favorite now. This is an overlooked fact. McCain is the populist maverick that has carried the popular sentiment on his back for the last eight years. He is an All-American. Everyone likes him. No one question his patriotism. He is honest. People trust he will do the right thing.
I believe Obama is also honest, but I am not sure he knows what the right thing is. I will have to read the Koran before I can express a better opinion about Obama Hussein.
As for as Hillary, she is not honest. No where near it. She is considered dishonest and evil. In fact, based on the timing of events, she may even be the anti-christ. Here is how we will tell. If she gets the democratic nomination and wins the presidency, then she is the anti-christ. If she loses, then she is not the anti-christ. Or, it could be that Bill is the anti-christ and he is planning to regain his power through Hillary. Either way, if Hillary wins, she or Bill is the anti-christ. The only way they are not, is if Hillary loses. This is reason enough to vote against Hillary. Of course if she is not the anti-christ, then folks can say: “See there, she is not the anti-christ.” However, that does not mean she is not evil. She is definitely in Satan’s army. If she loses this time, it could be she or Bill is still the anti-christ and the plan is to run again in 2016.
Back to McCain. Everyone likes him. He is a true patriot who has sacrificed 6 years of his life as a POW in Vietnam in the worst hell imaginable. When he was offered parole because his father was an Admiral, he told his captors that the rules required that the release of POWs be based on first in/first out and that he would accept if they released everyone ahead of him. When the congs refused, McCain spent another five years as a POW because of his valor and adherence to the Code of Conduct. This achievement alone demonstrates that McCain will always do the right thing. Dedication to duty is overwhelming.
With Hillary, we may see dedication to sacred golden cow futures, Satan, the ghost Eleanor Roosevelt, or her lost love Vince Foster.
Obama cast his allegiance to Mohammad. Obama has this rock star quality that is reminiscent of a scenario where someone sold their soul to the devil in exchange for a very quick path to fame, power, stardom, and wealth. That is what happened here.

I often here people complain that they are not satisfied with who is running for president and they would like to see someone else running, however, these people never list a name. Here, we have that person who everyone has always wanted to see run for president.

Obama in his Osama (Muslim) Suit
Well if it did not take but just a few days for the rest of the world to catch on.
No sooner than I posted about Osama, I mean Obama, being a Muslim, he appears on the Drudge Report in his Muslim “get up”. He looks rather natural in that uniform. The point is that I am just a stupid red neck and I guess it OK for me to say such things, but the Clinton campaign. How dare they. Drudge was just passing along what the Clinton campaign was putting out.
I also heard that the Clinton campaign was saying worse things about Obama. Real bad stuff. Stuff so bad I can not even mention it here. Even with my broader definition of free speech, I do not feel right in mentioning it, so it must be real bad, and it is. I would get in trouble if I said it.
I would say it is time for Obama to take a good look at himself and tell us all about this Muslimism, however, it is not time for that. The time for that will be in September or October, just before the general election.

Help get Ralph Nader on the ballot in all 50 states.
I love this guy, though not in a homosexual way. He is great for the economy, great for social issues, great for the military, and great for Republicans. We need Ralph Nader on the ballot! Write it down, remember it, tell others. We owe the last eight years of Bush rule to Ralph Nader.
Why he wants to do this to his causes is something he must resolve with himself. It does not matter to me why he is doing this, however, I am glad to help.
In the end, the electoral college may not be affected by any votes. We can not yet determine this. Based on history, we know Nader was crucial in Florida in the 2000 election. I still contend that the media boogared the Florida race by projecting Kerry the winner of Florida before the polls closed in the heavily Republican pan handle. Never less, history will show that Nader betrayed the liberal cause and cost Al Gore the 2000 election.
I also believe history will thank Ralph Nader for doing this. I thank him for his service and will be there to help now and in the future.
If you want John McCain to be the next President, then you will help the cause by helping Ralph Nader get on the ballot. Undecided democrat and independent voters should be targeted by the Nader campaign. Simply attracting the nuts and weirdoes who would turn out for Nader is not good enough. We need to help Nader attract votes way from Osama Hussein, I mean Barack Hussein Obama.
In the event you are reading this and actually want Ralph Nader to be President, I applaud ewe and encourage you to hold true to your principals. Nader does have a chance, but for this chance to play out, you must stay the course no matter what the polls say. We all know that the polls are just an attempt to skew publican opinion for the democratic candidate. The polls are like odds for a football game. If Nader is running 2% in the polls, that means he is a 50 to 1 long shot, but that means he has a 2% chance of getting elected. Besides, the polls are not 100% accurate and there is that chance that Nader will win regardless of what the polls say. Stay the course and give it all you got for Nader.
Same for you Republicans, give it all you got for Nader!

Obama shares a name with Osama and Samdam Hussein
Not a day goes by without someone saying “Osama” when they really meant to say “Obama”. Why does this matter?
It matters because Obama has a Muslim past he is trying to keep under wraps. References to him as Osama raises this issue that he is trying to censor.
It is suggested these days that it is inappropriate to make comparisons between Osama and Obama, when in fact they have more in common than most Americans.
His full name is - Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Note the middle name - Hussein.
It is also true that Obama has a Muslim background. As a child he attend a Muslim school in Indonesia.
Let me summarize:
1. Obama was trained as a Muslim;
2. His last name rhymes with Osama and is one letter off; and
3. His middle name is Hussein, which is a named shared with Saddam Hussein.
There are a lot of people who are covering this up in the name of political correctness. Others may be part of a conspiracy in an attempt to raid the White House by means of a stealth candidate.
I am not suggesting that people with names like Osama, Obama, or Hussein be discriminated against when applying for jobs, buying houses, or trying to get served a meal at a restaurant. We are talking about the Presidency of the United States.

Because I am in the Army, I am eligible to receive an electronic ballot. I requested one and they mailed a ballot that did not get here until after the primary.
The city voter registrar informed me that they do not participate in the electronic ballot program. I informed them that my city was on the list of cities that did and I provided them a copy of the electronic ballot the same city sent me for the 2002 general election. They apologized.
Despite that, I completed my ballot and am mailing it in late. I cast my ballot for Obama. Let me say that I will vote for the Republican in the general election. That will be John McCain and I believe he will be our next president. I have even given McCain money. Never less, I would rather risk having Obama President in order to take out Hillary early. She is pure evil.

Young Republican Homosexuals and Soap on a Rope
Let me say this about Republicans, one would think that the democrats have all the homosexuals, but that would be wrong.
I recall at a Young Republican Party in 1989 a bunch of guys started dancing together. I looked at it and thought it was the gayest thing I had ever seen. As I looked around in the Young Republicans, I saw homosexuals everywhere - declared and undeclared. I even come up with a test to judge who was gay or not and the test was amazingly accurate, although it would take 10 to 15 years for the list to increase in accuracy.
A lot of guys go to political events to meet girls. These days its becoming easier and easier. I was lucky to meet a nice girl at a formal Young Republican ball and we have been married about 12 years now. I would like to say the competition was stiff. Actually the competition was stiff, but they were all stiff for each other and not the ladies. With all the homosexuals running around, it was nice to be among one of the straight guys looking for what nature intends to bestow on me.
I can list many examples, and I will on this blog. But for now I will dime out a prime example of the problem - Glenn Murphy, Jr., the Indiana Young Republican elected as Chairman of the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF). Glenn is also known as the Midnight Fellator. I have been to several YRNF conventions and participated in the politics there, but I am glad to say I was not at the YRNF convention when they elected the Midnight Fellator as chairman.
In the same month he was elected chairman in July 2007, the Midnight Fellator bunked at the home of a young female YR, but he was caught early in the morning sodomizing the YR's younger brother while masturbating. I have heard of "the reach around," however, our YRNF chairman just invented a new technique. Unfortunately for him, the brother and his sister were not amused and called the police. It was discovered that the Midnight Fellator had done the same thing years earlier, but no charges were filed.
The way things are going with the Young Republicans and society in general, it is no surprise that the chairman of the YRNF would be a homosexual. The convention delegates surely wanted to elected someone who represented them and shared their values.
At the last convention I attended was 2003 in Boston. I had just returned from a year tour in Kuwait. At the convention I saw the candidates and clearly supported Michael Mack, who narrowly defeated Mike Flory. Flory was one of the youngest candidates I have seen run for Chairman and he was very energetic and came very close. Still, I thought something was wrong with him. He was with the Morton Blackwell and Jim Parmelee kook wing of the Republican Party. A wing of the party that hardly has enough room in their closet if you know what I mean.
At the YRNF summer meeting in Cleveland, Mike Flory who is currently the Michigan YR Chairman, escorted one of his Michigan YRs to her room after she had too much to drink. Upon returning to her room, he forced his way in the room and then forced his way into her orally, anally, and vaginally. He even continued to violate her while she was puking in the bathroom. He pulled her hair while violating her from behind while calling her a bitch and a whore. Just think, a few more votes and he could have been the YRNF chairman. Lets hear it for Mike Flory - Chairman of the Michigan Young Republican Federation and a few votes shy of being the national chairman.
So, where does this leave us with the Young Republicans or politics in general. Power corrupts. We have to properly judge people before putting them in positions of power. This does not include giving anyone the benefit of the doubt or presuming innocence. The biggest boogie I have ever seen in the YRNF is Joe Waldholtz and I will impute all that is bad with him to his dear wife, Enid Greene. I knew Joe was bad news when he was still in good with everyone. I say everyone, however, I was not one of those. To those in the Waltholtz club, you got dupped and if you loaned him money, then you got a good education through your loss.
After that, we did have a good run with some good people, notably Kevin McCarthy of California who was YRNF Chairman from 1999 to 2001. Kevin did a great job when he was co-chairman and chairman. After his term as Chairman, he won a seat in the California legislature and won a seat in Congress in the 2006 elections. Though he is not as conservative as some would like, as chairman and co-chairman he set a great example by working hard and ensuring the YRs completed their mission. Enid Greene was in it only for herself and joined up with Joe Waldholtz so she could steal a congressional seat.
We have YR leaders who have set a good example and gone on to great things. We have other YR leaders who are homosexuals and some who have gone to prison. We should think about sending our YR alumni who are in prison one of those soap on a rope gadgets so they will not drop their soap in the shower. Then again, maybe they want to drop their soap?
